Description
The planet Verminest is spreading its insect army to your planet. Drive them back then destroy the nest of Queen Verminia.
They Came from Verminest '83 is an arcade shoot-'em-up in the style of Galaga and Centipede. You, in your ship, must fight through waves of enemies in space and, later, on the ground. After a few waves, you will fight larger, tougher enemies then you will have the option of firing on eggs to crack them open. These eggs will release bonuses of armor, speed, firepower, etc. Fight through all the levels to face and destroy Queen Verminia.
Unlike They Came from Verminest, in this game, there is only one screen mode. The game is in color but using the limited color palette from early 80's arcade games. Also, some of the level's backgrounds are slightly less detailed to also simulate that early 80's arcade look.
