Thunderbolt Fantasy M

Thunderbolt Fantasy M is a Taiwanese action RPG based on the Taiwanese-Japanese wuxia fantasy puppet television series Thunderbolt Fantasy. It adapts the events of the show's first season, in which a wandering swordsman named Shāng Bù Huàn is reluctantly drawn into a quest by the enigmatic Lǐn Xuě Yā to protect a shrine maiden named Dān Fěi from an evil swordsman, Miè Tiān Hái, who will stop at nothing to obtain the legendarily powerful sword that she protects, the Tiān Xíng Jiàn.

The player directly controls one character at a time, but can also switch to any of the other members of their party at any given moment. Combat is fast-paced, with an emphasis on performing combos. Each character has their own strengths and weaknesses when working with others, so the player must manage their team composition to get the best results. The player also collects swords which provide combat bonuses throughout the game. Unlike in the show, each sword is personified as an anime girl with her own card and artwork. New swords and costumes for the characters can be acquired via a gacha system.
