Toad Trails: Rufus' Story
Description
Toad Trails: Rufus' Story is a kinetic visual novel about the titular character, Rufus, a young toad who is experiencing mysterious fainting spells. Rufus' older brother, Marco, is training to be a healer and assures Rufus that they'll figure out why he's fainting. The story takes place in natural environment filled with rocks and caves.
The entire game is click/tap to continue, making it possible to play on any device with access to a browser. This also allows the reader to advance the story at their chosen pace.
As of March 12, 2025, there are two chapters: The Death Spell and To Someone With Love.
