Description

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction is the mobile version of the console game with the same name and is one of two mobile versions. The game follows the story of the console version and contains thirteen levels set in eight different locations, from Malta to Washington D.C. Unlike the 3D game released for smartphones this is a 2D game similar to previous mobile entries in the series. The gameplay is similar too but like the console version it is more combat oriented although using stealth is still an option.

In each level the player has to get past numerous enemies to reach an exit and advance through the story. This can be done by jumping onto them, knocking them out in close combat or shooting them with the pistol (and later machine gun or shotgun). New in this game is the addition of quick time events, for example when grabbing an enemy or pulling a lever. The player also has access to various items to use. This include ropes for swinging down from a platform, a mirror used to peak through doors, cans that distract guards when thrown and an EMP backpack that makes the player invisible to security devices. There are also computers to hack and bombs to disarm which is done through mini games.
