Top of the Pops: Mix Factory

Description
Top of the Pops: Mix Factory is a single-player music based title in which the player creates pop videos.
The game consists of three sections;* Hit Mix: In this section the player creates their own music by dragging and dropping blocks of music onto a mixing panel. There are eight tracks on this panel and the player can add samples from Drums, Bass, Keyboard, Guitar, Voices, etc as well as adding their own recorded sounds and voice. The maximum length of any music created here is one hundred bars.
There are three styles of music dance, Pop, and HipHop each with their own set of samples and an example track.
-
Vision Mix: This is where the player creates a video to accompany their music. As with the music creation this is done by dragging and dropping blocks onto a mixing board, however here the player is moving graphic sequences and there are just two 'tracks' one for the foreground graphic and the other for the background. All the example tracks have accompanying graphics.
The maximum length of any video is three minutes which limits the length of any Pop tune to sixty-eight bars and any HipHop tune to seventy-two bars. -
TX: TX is an abbreviation for, among other things, Transmission. This is where the player constructs their pop show by selecting their tracks and having them play as though it were an episode of Top Of The Pops. A maximum of ten tunes can be used in each show.
There is a fully voiced in-game tutorial which explains the controls and a text guide which opens in a browser window
The game will not run unless the CD is present in the drive.
