Touhou Koumakyou: The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil 8 bit is demake of The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil. This fan game brings back the original version to NES capabilities with a lower resolution, less colours (8-bit palette), different bullets and remixed music. The downgraded version is still a vertically scrolling shooter in danmaku style, but has less levels. Reimu Hakurei and Marisa Kirisame are the protagonists and fights against characters like Rumia, Daiyousei, Cirno etc.
