Treasure Island
Description
Treasure Island is mostly a text adventure but it also has action and edutainment elements. This game is based on the 1883 novel of the same name by Robert Louis Stevenson. You play as young Jim Hawkins who sets off to Treasure Island in search of the fortune buried by the pirate Captain Flint.
The player interacts with the environment by typing commands, most of which involve combinations of verbs and objects. In the edutainment parts the player has to pick the correct English translation for the kanji word in purple. While the action part called "Type & Escape" is set in a maze where the player has to get 3000 points in total by pressing one of the keys shown on screen to escape the pirates.
