Trucker & Streets of the City

Trucker & Streets of the City are two strategy games released together for multiple systems.

• Streets of the City: Congratulations, you have been named transportation director of River City, Michigan. You have been hired for a 10 year term to help construct highways, improve street safety, and help reconstruct major roads, as well as direct the servicing, upgrading, and fees of the city's bus fleet. For the buses, the player sets the number of routes, hours of operation, and fees. The player must allocate funds to the transit authority and road construction, and must decide how much to spend on maintenance and safety. The player must also negotiate payments with the transportation union.

• Trucker: The player attempts to drive a load of freight from Los Angeles to New York City as cheap as possible in the minimal time to maximize profit. At the beginning of the game, the player must choose their cargo type, with some loads easily expired, while others allow a more leisurely trip. Gameplay occurs in hourly segments, with the player choosing the speed they wish to travel. Weather conditions make high speeds dangerous, and travelling too fast can lead to speeding tickets and lost time and money. The player has fatigue, and must make regular stops at rest stations for rest, as well as refueling and tire repairs. The player can run out of gas, or become sleepy and crash.
