Trucks is a sci-fi vehicular action game set on the bustling planet Couroucoucou. As a major hub for intergalactic trade, Couroucoucou is home to numerous trading posts operated by powerful import-export companies. The planet's surface is a battleground for these corporations, with high rewards offered for completing missions that aid their expansion. Beyond the protective walls of these trading posts, indigenous populations dominate the open spaces. Drawn by the promise of luxury, adventurers from various races traverse the planet, seeking contracts with the trading companies. The player steps into the role of an independent truck driver, recruited from Earth by the influential Comptoir des planètes freight company.

The core gameplay involves driving powerful trucks, reminiscent of American big rigs. Players undertake a variety of missions, from transporting goods to engaging in combat with rival drivers and hostile natives. Navigating through both safe zones and dangerous territories requires skillful driving and strategic planning.
