Tsurikichi Sanpei: Blue Marlin Hen

Description
In this fishing simulation, Sanpei Mihira & company are entering a fishing tournament. After giving your boat a name (which is also your team's name in the tournament), you set sail and begin the tournament. The coastline of northern Honshu where the tournament takes place is divided into 26 zones from A to Z. The first thing you do in the gameplay loop is moving your boat into one of these zones. After choosing line and bait, you can start casting the line. Once a fish bites, your goal is to reel it in while keeping the two triangles at the top of the screen as close as possible. Having them too far will turn the triangles yellow, then red, then the line snaps. The fish gets away if it gets to 500 meters away from your boat regardless of line tension. Each tournament day ends at 16:00, at which your team must return to shore, although returning early is also an option. The next morning, Yuri wakes you up and you begin a new day in the tournament.
The tournament runs for 5 days, and although the winner is determined by points, catching the titular blue marlin which only spawns on the fifth day will end the game early. The amount of points the blue marlin is worth makes it most certainly that the catcher is the tournament winner, which makes the actual win condition of the game to catch the blue marlin, and the point system's role is rather to determine the blue marlin spawn.
