Two-Inch Town

Description

Two-Inch Town is a simulation which shares gameplay basics with titles like Little Computer People, and to a simplified degree The Sims.

There are multiple single-screen maps, which may be populated with persons, by their appearance not necessarily humans. At first, all persons are in fact represented by smileys– other types, like a Stickman, may be chosen from an in-game menu. Clicking on a person reveals their current state and hobbies which may be manipulated. To conduct activities and hobbies, there needs to be a corresponding building or terrain on the map. Physics research is done in a library for example, and may also cause persons to do some reading and checking E-mail, while a simple grass space offers opportunities for playing Frisbee, camping, painting or excavating.

Like persons, buildings and different terrain spaces may simply be put on the map via menu without cost, a "grand goal" or aim doesn't exist.
