Type Attacks

Type Attacks is a typing game and therefore required a keyboard. The player sits in an aircraft and has to protect their city. However, instead of the usual lasers or rockets, the attackers use letters and words. The threats are removed by typing them into the keyboard. Each missed letter/word works towards destroying the city and gives negative points for the high-score table. It is also not only important to work fast, but also correct: while every correct typing gives positive points, wrong ones result in penalties. Occasionally the player will encounter super words which work similar to smart bombs: they destroy all other words/letters on screen when typed in correctly.

The overall goal is to achieve a high-score, but the game also tracks the player's wpm (words-per-minute). There are five difficulty levels which differ in their typing requirements (e.g. the easiest difficulty has only lower-case letters while the highest difficulty has long words, both cases and numbers) and the number of rounds.
