Ubergridder

Ubergridder is a relatively simple arcade game with similarities to Pac-Man. The player controls Robert, a maintenance robot who has to close all grids of the level. To do so, he just needs to move over all lines the level provides. Unfortunately there are also monsters which can kill Robert with one bite. Besides simple avoiding them, he can also drop a monster chew in their way to stop them for a few seconds. An additional difficulty is the time limit.

The robot moves automatically forward and the controls are mostly indirect, i.e. when the player chooses a direction Robert will automatically follow it on the next intersection. However, when the direct opposite direction is chosen, Robert turns around on the spot without awaiting the next junction. Sometimes bonus items appear on the field which reward extra time or bonus points when collected. The levels progress in difficulty and feature tighter time limits, more monsters and incomplete grids.
