UEFA Euro 2008
Description
UEFA Euro 2008 is the official game of the European Championship of 2008. The game uses the same isometric game engine as FIFA 08 but introduces an all-new control system designed to be suitable for a more casual audience. Movement of players works the same as before, but all other actions (shooting, passing, crossing and tackling) are done with one button. When in the right position, pressing it brings up a slidey bar with a moving pointer. To successfully perform an action it has to be stopped in the green area of the bar.
Game modes include the full Euro 2008 finals as it was played in real life and the My Euro 2008 mode which allows the player to choose from 53 European national teams with either randomized or real-life groups. There are also modes for quick matches and penalty shootouts.
