This is a special Japanese version of Ultima IX that was especially made for Japanese Ultima series fans.
The box of the game is bigger and made from stronger material than the normal Japanese edition, and opens from the side like a book, and the contents are:
- Ultima IX (2 CDs)
- Ultima IX soundtrack (1 CD)
- 8 tarot cards, one for each of the sacred virtues
- Ankh pendant
- A cloth map of Britannia (40 x 40 cm)
- Hardcover copies of the Journal and Spellbook.
- Certificate from Richard Garriott, thanking for the purchase and hinting at his future plans.
- Codex amulet trinket
