UXB

UXB is a single screen game where you play the role of Captain Dar-es UXB, a bomb disposal expert who has been called to save the Caverns of Time. Gaterns have placed bombs in each cavern because they weren't given immortality by Lord of the Touchstone and vow to destroy them all. You must move around the screen, touching four of the bombs to defuse them before each bomb's timers run out, then you touch a Hour Gate to move to the next cavern. If you defuse more than four bombs then the Hour Gate's won't open and you have to sacrifice a life to move to the next cavern.

The screens are made up of touchstones and when you move from a touchstone, it disappears so a path needs to be planned so you are not trapped with no where to move. You can though, hold down the fire button to move a row of touchstones left or right, but anything touching the edge of the screen disappears. As you move and defuse bombs, there are also Qerims moving around and if touched then you lose a life. Time Spines are represented by Skull and Crossbones and also need avoiding but cherries collected give bonus points. You have five lives to start with but if you allow any bomb to explode then it is instant game over.
