Valley of the Kings
Description
Valley of the Kings is a text adventure for the BBC Micro and Electron.
Far away across the desert lies the lost pyramid of Kaculad, rumored to contain fabulous treasure and a legendary golden mask. The pyramid has been discovered, but the archaeologists have mysteriously fled the site. The player must explore a number of Egyptian pyramids to locate treasures and bring them back to the starting point, with the final goal to discover the golden mask. Each treasure is worth 20 points, and the maximum score for the adventure is 500 points. The player must contend with thirst, regularly needing to drink and refill their flask. They must also contend with the limited battery power of their flashlight.
