Description
Sōta Itō, an ordinary second-year high school student, wakes up one morning to discover two pin-prick scars on his neck: the tell-tale sign of a bite from a vampire. To his horror, he begins to transform into a monstrous half-vampire creature called 'Vjedogonia', which is consumed by a thirst for blood. As Sōta sets out in search of a cure for himself, he discovers that the only way to stop the transformation and regain his humanity is to kill the vampire that turned him. With his immortal soul at stake and only weeks left to live, Sōta finds himself thrust into the dark world of vampires and the supernatural beings who hunt them.
Vampirdzhija Vjedogonia is a gothic horror visual novel. The story is structured in an episodic format that consists of thirteen chapters. The player is periodically presented with choices that influence the outcome of the story.
In addition to typical visual novel gameplay, the game features a combat system that comes into play whenever the player is attacked by an enemy. In combat, the player has access to a command menu where they can choose how to respond, with the options depending on the distance between the player and the enemy. There are five weapons in the game that can be used against enemies, with some being more effective to use from certain ranges than others.
