Vijay Singh Pro Golf 2005

Vijay Singh Pro Golf 2005 is the first game in the Pro Golf series. The game uses a third person perspective that changes to a top down view when the ball is in the air. Similar to many other golf games it uses a power bar to take shots. A button press starts the meter moving with the second press deciding the power and the third the accuracy of the shot. On the green the same bar is used for putting.

The game includes two game modes as well as a quick play option. There is a tournament, the Gameloft Trophy, where the player has to beat 29 other golfers to win and there is a versus mode which includes stroke play and match play. Before starting a game it's possible to choose between a number of golfers with different abilities as well as the difficulty level. The easiest level uses a simplified shot mechanic where only the power has to be set.
