Vulture Watch

Description
Vulture Watch is a strategy game for the Apple II.
Vulture Watch is a mountain rumored to run thick with veins of gold. This is your goal, but to reach this destination, you must cross the deserts of the world, trying to stay alive.
In each desert, the player must travel to 10 separate oases. At each oasis, the player encounters the inhabitant of the place. The player is given the mood of the inhabitant, and 4 possible verbal responses. If the player chooses the right response for the inhabitant's mood, they are granted 3 water. If the player fails, they can fight the inhabitant, at this risk of losing hit points. Upon being victorious, they gain 5 - 6 water.
Every step the player takes in the desert costs 1 water point, and hitpoints will slowly regain while wandering the desert. A desert is completed when water has been obtained from all 10 oases, and each oasis can only yield water once. After completing a desert, the player will travel to the next desert with different characters and responses existing in each geographical area.
Pits are positioned through the desert, and the contents of which may help or hinder the player. If the player runs out of water or hit points, they will succumb to the desert.
