Description
Wangan Midnight: Maximum Tune 6RR+ is the thirteenth game in the Wangan Midnight: Maximum Tune racing series based on the Wangan Midnight manga. It is the third update to Wangan Midnight: Maximum Tune 6, following Wangan Midnight: Maximum Tune 6R and Wangan Midnight: Maximum Tune 6RR.
Released to celebrate the Maximum Tune series' 20th anniversary, the game features the first major update to the ENMA engine for several years. In addition, the start and finish positions in Time Attack mode are modified, the Wangan Navigator app's map features are improved, players are allowed to pick from all six limited edition car models from the beginning, and five new BGM compositions by Yuzo Koshiro are added. One new car, the Nissan Fairlady Z Version ST (RZ34), is available.
As of 2025, the game is to be the final Maximum Tune series game, with the new Wangan Midnight: Speed Ignition series following it.
