War on Terrorism

The simple shooter game War on Terrorism is one of the many browser games created in the wake of 9/11 attacks which have the player fighting Al Qaeda. As a special operations soldier, the player must complete several missions against Islamist terrorists.

Two of the missions ("Terrorist Camp" and "Cave Recon") pit the player, armed with a rifle and a pistol, against a crowd of terrorists who keep running onto the screen and must be quickly taken out before their shots completely deplete the player's health. In "Hostage Rescue" the player carries a sniper rifle and must shoot all the guards on the screen; at one point, another guard will come out of a doorway and must be quickly killed before he raises the alarm. Finally, in "Bin Laden Capture" the player beats up a helpless Osama Bin Laden with a variety of punches.
