Description
Wheel of Fortune: Deluxe Edition featuring... Vanna White is a video game based on the TV game show Wheel of Fortune. It works just like the original: three contestants try to guess a phrase or a similar text by spinning the wheel and then naming a consonant (vowels have to be bought with earned money without a spin). If it is included in the phrase, they are revealed and the candidate can spin again. Each correct consonant rewards money based on the dollar amount the wheel landed on. However, the wheel can also land on a special field, e.g. a free spin or bankruptcy. After a wrong guess, the next candidate is on unless a free spin has been collected. Each active candidate can try to solve the phrase.
The fourth round is the speed-up. Here the dollar amount is determined beforehand and each candidate has to guess one letter (vowels are free) and then has one try to solve the phrase. One candidate then proceeds to the bonus round. Here the game automatically reveals the letters R, S, T, L N and E and the candidate has to choose three additional consonants and one additional vowel. After all is revealed, there is one try to guess the phrase.
