Whiz Kid
Description
Whiz Kid is a science-fiction themed graphical adventure game for the Apple II.
This is a graphical text adventure, where commands are inputted via VERB NOUN commands. Most puzzles are inventory based. Features a save and restore feature.
On the eve of the American 4th of July celebrations, the player uses their Apple II computer and modem to hack into NASA's computers, and discover an alien invasion is planned for 8PM that evening. Events are timed, and the player has until 8:00 pm to solve the adventure. Certain in-game events are only available during specific times of the day. The player can visit the CIA headquarters, The White House, NASA, a computer store, and a costume shop within a short walk of their house. The player must ultimately discover and stop the alien invasion before it is too late.
