Windy City

Windy City is a reading comprehension game for the Apple II.

The player controls Scrappy, who is exploring Windy City. He must search the streets for lost letters, while avoiding wind storms and street sweepers. When the player picks up a letter, they are given a short article, and must answer several questions including: supporting details, main idea, and intended audience. Once the player has identified intended audience, the letter must be sent to the correct place at the cost of one stamp. The goal is to maximize score before running out of stamps. Encounters with street dangers can cost the player stamps and points.
