Word Ladders

Word Ladders is an educational game that teaches words by focusing on phonetic features of word families. The aim of the game is to help a creature called Gorb to reach his treehouse. The player is presented with a word stem and has to fill in the missing letters so that the right word is created. For each word a clue is given. The player gets three tries on each word and upon entering the correct answer Gorb elevates closer to the treehouse. The game contains a total of 100 different puzzles which can be modified by the teacher.
