WordSearch

Word Search is a single player, mouse controlled, freeware game in which the player must find words hidden within a grid of letters. When a player finds a word they position the mouse cursor at one end of the string, hold down the left mouse button, and drag it to the other end of the string. If correct the game puts a ring around the string and ticks it off the list of words to search for.

The game has options to construct puzzles in either upper or lower case with words in all directions, just horizontally & vertically, horizontally only, or vertically only. It comes with sixty word groups held in banks of ten each of which can be played with four levels of difficulty. In addition there is a game creation option allowing players to set up their own word lists, these can hold a maximum of fifty entries of to thirteen letters long. Though the game is mouse controlled a keyboard is needed when creating new word lists.

The game has a 'find this word for me' option and also allows puzzles to be printed with or without solutions.
