Description

Words at Work: Suffix Sense is a series of educational language games for the Apple II.

Consists of 4 educational games:

  • Babe in the Woods- The player takes on the role of Paul Bunyan, and must separate the root word from the suffix on a cart pulled by the ox Blue.
  • Rory's Roots - The player sees a sentence containing a suffix, and must correctly type the root word.
  • The Hip Ele-Gator Band - The player sees a sentence containing a suffix, and must choose the correct meaning from 3 possible answers.
  • The Prefix Game - A 1 - 2 player matching game, where the players try to match a word with a suffix and its correct meaning. The player who gets the most correct matches is the winner.
