Words of Wisdom

Words of Wisdom is a Hangman variant: the player - in the role of the would-be-hero Enigma who searches for the Wisdom Scroll - needs to guess words by correctly guessing the included letters. Each wrong guess causes the enemy to attack and subtract a health point. The game is lost if there is no health left or the time limit runs out. In later levels, the enemies can cast negative effects on Enigma, e.g. making him forget letters for a certain amount of turns or jumbling the letter order. Fortunately Enigma also has a ace up his sleeve: the reveal star instantly unlocks a letter (but takes five enemies to recharge). Time and health is stocked up after guessing a word and each level consists of multiple words in a row.

The three additional game modes are Classic Mode (classic Hangman rules), Time Trial (guessing as many words in a limited time) and Leisure Mode (identical to Time Trial but without a time limit). For the latter two modes, the player can exchange time and health recovery for a score multiplier.
