World Cup Manager

World Cup Manager is a 1-player soccer management game for the BBC Micro.

The player takes control of one of 24 teams competing in the 1982 World Cup. The player names all positions, and is placed in one of six groups. The goal is to lead the team to World Cup victory.

The player can scout at least four teams before the tournament to get details about their play style. Prior to each game, the player sets their player position, defensive plan, attacking plan, midfield scheme, corners, and offensive and defensive free-kick plan. The game then automatically takes place, and all major moves are displayed in text with a final game score.
