Description
X³: Albion Prelude is a space trading and combat simulator expansion in the X³ series. Serving as a narrative and mechanical bridge between X³: Terran Conflict and X: Rebirth. Players continue their ventures in a dynamic and evolving universe marked by soaring economic ambitions and escalating conflict.
The gameplay retains X³’s open-ended sandbox structure, with added layers of depth. Albion Prelude introduces over 30 new ships and stations, war-themed sectors where Earth forces clash with the Commonwealth, and a stock exchange system that allows for sophisticated investment strategies. It also enhances UI functionality, adding charts for economic insights - offers adjustable graphics settings for high-end systems, and includes support for head-tracking peripherals.
