xSynergy Gate

xSynergy Gate is an almost top-down, vertically scrolling space shoot'em up. It is played on a single plane, but it has 3D graphics. The player controls a space ship, flies forward and shoots enemies, but the special weapon system is quite different. Defeated enemies leave behind small fragments that form a cloud that circles around the screen. When it gets close to the ship some fragment can be absorbed to load a special weapon. There are three weapons that are chosen through floating cards on the screen. Once activated it slowly drains the fragment meter in the bottom left corner. Bosses appear often and shoot lots of bullets.
