Zany Kong
Description
Zany Kong is a 1-player Donkey Kong clone for the BBC Micro.
The player must maneuver Morris along girders and ladders to save the maiden from Kong. In each frame, the player's goal is to move from the bottom of the screen to the top while avoiding a number of dangers before the bonus time reaches 0. The player starts with 3 lives.
In frame 1, the player must climb ladders and avoid barrels to reach the top of the screen. Hammers temporarily allow Morris to smash incoming dangers. Frame 2 adds conveyor belts, flaming oil, and ladders that move up and down as Kong moves left and right at the top of the screen. Frame 3 has vertically moving platforms, and the player must dodge bouncing springs. Finally on frame 4, the player must avoid fireballs to remove the bridges supporting Kong, causing him to fall to the ground.
