Zazen
Description
Zazen is a meditation training game based on the practice of the same name. It uses the Kinect to read one's body posture for accuracy and improvement as well as display one's image capture against different background sets. Most of these sets are based on Japanese gardens or Buddhist temple locations.
The player is scored or rewarded for maintaining the correct posture while meditating. Achievements are awarded for flawless posture as well as for finishing sessions. Other game-like elements include a stroke imitation mode where the player can use their hand to draw the strokes necessary to recreate the different glyphs of the Heart Sutra. A "chanting" mode is also available.
Live-action video tutorials are also included to help acclimate beginners to Zazen.
