Zero Comico
Description
In Zero Comico three Italian comedians (Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo, modelled after their real-life counterparts) are in a fictional sci-fi world where they try to free themselves by visiting various levels inspired by the history of video games.
In the first level the three actors somehow need to repair the spaceship from Space Invaders. Other games present in this level are: Pac-Man, Pitfall, Breakout and Scramble.
In the middle there are levels inspired by platform games (Super Mario Bros., Rainbow Islands etc), graphic adventures (Monkey Island) and first-person shooters set in space (DOOM, Alien). The last level is inspired by Tomb Raider.
The gameplay is like a classic graphic adventure game, based on finding objects and solving puzzles. You only control one character at a time. In the first three levels only one of them, in the last two they take control of parts of the levels and share the inventory.
