Zombie Kill of the Week: Reborn
Description
Zombie Kill of the Week: Reborn is the sequel to Zombie Kill of the Week, similar in style but with a new set of maps and new features.
It is a 'dual analog'-style platform shooter, where you can aim freely around. Zombies spawn in waves, and killing them all sends in a new wave, with later waves bringing more powerful zombies and every few waves even a 'hulk' boss monster. Killed zombies grant experience points and drop money and occasionally a power-up. Money is used to purchase new weapons at stations strewn over the map as well as unlock doors opening up new parts of the map. Also placed on the level are cell phones, which unlock bots to fight along you if you're playing alone or can't fill up a multiplayer game.
In the main 'carnage' mode, the game never ends, but the monsters keep getting tougher and you simply try for a high score. In the 'challenge mode you instead have a strict time limit to rack up a high a score as you can.
Gaining enough experience points to level up grants skill points which are used to improve one of several attributes, such as gun proficiency, movement speed or the amount of money zombies drop. Reaching certain milestones or fulfilling challenges grant ZKW points, which can be used to unlock or upgrade weapons, customize your character, unlock bonus perks or new maps and buy consumable items such as mines and turrets.
