Zone: Wireless Gaming
Description
The Zone: Wireless Gaming is a Wii knockoff which is powered by a Sunplus SPG system-on-a-chip. The system itself is small and has an infrared receiver on the front, power and reset buttons, a 9 volt DC power input, a battery compartment for 4 AAA batteries, and a AV video and mono audio output. Despite having a DC input the European release of the system doesn't come with a power adaptor.
The two controllers that come with the system a styled to look similar to Wiimotes. They have a d-pad, A B Start and Select buttons, some rudimentary motion sensing functionality, a battery compartment for 3 AAA batteries, and 5 infrared emitters (one for each side of the controllers). The controllers have holes for a speaker near the B button, however no speaker (or even a space where a speaker can go) is contained inside.
