Beyondthepillars was an independent game development studio founded in 2008 in Paris, France by Guy Lévi-Bochi. The initial focus was the development of the MMORPG with the codename LNW in an isometric 2D style. While working on that game the Winter Voices series was created, a turn-based RPG series with seven episodes made available gradually. The first installment, Winter Voices: Avalanche, was released in October 2010. Four additional entries were released, but the sixth and seventh game were never completed. The studio was closed in October 2011.
