eGameZone Networks was started in 2001 as a web based publisher of games for the PC, Pocket PC, and Palm. It's business model was to attract independent game developers, publish their games on-line and take a percentage of the proceeds. In August 2004 the web site was 'being rebuilt' and visitors were redirected to the new venture André LaMothe's XGameStation, it remained that way until mid/late 2007 when all text was removed and in 2011 the site automatically diverted visitors to XGameStation
