Break Gold
Description
Break Gold is a single player, mouse controlled, Breakout type of game.
The game consists of a series of boards named Break Gold, another series named "Noid '99" which may come from one of the author's earlier freeware games of the same name, and a single level known as 'test'. The game comes with a level editor and the last 'test' level, while fully playable, serves as an indicator for the way user created levels are accessed via the game'e main menu.
In the supplied levels the player uses the paddle to keep a ball in play and using it to destroy bricks and tot up a high score. In most of these levels alien space ships appear through trap doors at the top of the screen and points are awarded for their destruction.
Other game features include force fields, bricks with springs that move horizontally, and a moveable tileset - it 'waves' like a flag in a breeze.
The game has music, sound effects and a high score table, it can be played with either the mouse or the keyboard
