Frontier Developments plc

Frontier Developments is based in Cambridge, UK, founded in 1994 by David Braben.

They are best known for the Elite series, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, the Jurassic World: Evolution series, Planet Coaster and Planet Zoo. Most of their games use iterations of the in-house Cobra engine.

From August 2020 to October 2023, the company published externally-developed games under the Frontier Foundry label.
