Grasshopper Manufacture Inc.

Grasshopper Manufacture Inc. is a Japanese multimedia house, founded on March 30, 1998. The company is headquartered in Tokyo. They have worked on licensed titles such as Samurai Champloo: Sidetracked, but are most famous for their original titles with a distinctive cel-shaded art style Killer7 (2005) and No More Heroes (2007), directed by Goichi Suda (Suda51).

On 30th January 2013 the Japanese publishing company GungHo Online Entertainment, Inc. announced to have acquired grasshopper manufacture.

On 22nd October 2021 NetEase announced the acquisition of the company.
