Nintendo Australia, established in 1994, is the local head office for the worldwide leader in the creation of interactive entertainment, Nintendo Co., Ltd of Kyoto, Japan. Nintendo Australia has sold over 12 million video games, over 2.5 million Game Boys and over 1 million consoles to date. Nintendo Australia has also sold over 2 million Pokémon video games alone, since their launch on Game Boy in Australia over 3 years ago.
