Norse

Norse was founded in 1993 by Tv-spelsbörsen, a Swedish specialist video game retailer that had their golden days in the early 90's with trade-in of used video games. Their idea was to use their profits from the stores and invest into developing games. They hired developers from Game Zone (consumer-facing name of Waher Data A.B.). The first project, the game Dorque & Imp, never managed to get a publisher. Instead they tried their luck with porting a 3D game to Saturn but the funding of the project ran out, and Norse was folded in 1995. The game Dorque & Imp was later finished and published by Piko Interactive under the name Dorke & Ymp.
