About
Pavonis Interactive began under the name Long War Studios in 2015 when they created the popular "Long War" mod for the game XCOM: Enemy Unknown. The company was then hired by 2K Games over the next two years to make a series of mods for the sequel game XCOM 2.
Long War Studios rebranded as Pavonis Interactive at the beginning of 2017 and began developing their own independent video games. The studio is based out of Louisville, Colorado in the United States.
