Description

Pieces Interactive was a game development company situated in Skövde, a small city in the midst of Sweden. The company was founded in 2007 by 9 people. The company's history goes back several years prior to starting the business, as a team of former students graduating from Sweden's game development educations.

The company's first title was a puzzle game called Puzzlegeddon, released in November of 2008. The studio experimented with several different games within a multitude of genres, including Fret Nice, Leviathan: Warships, Kill to Collect: Gid Gud and Die Trying and Magicka 2.

After being acquired by THQ Nordic GmbH in August 2017, the studio developed two expansions for the hack n' slash action RPG Titan Quest: Anniversary Edition, as well as the second reboot of Alone in the Dark.
