Titan Quest: Anniversary Edition - Atlantis

Marinos - an explorer hailing from the port of Rhodes - has intrigued the Titan Slayer with his search for Atlantis, the lost continent that once upon a time had suffered the wrath of Poseidon. Setting foot on Atlantis after following many leads around the Mediterranean Sea, the Titan Slayer finds that the Atlantean ruins have new occupiers bound together by a mysterious mastermind.

This expansion's new story content is positioned as a series of Side Quests meant to be done between Act III and Act IV. The start of this series of Side Quests is placed at the port just outside the City of Rhodes. Unlike Ragnarök, the Atlantis expansion does not offer a method to fast track new players directly to its content.

At the Spanish port town of Gadir - the start of the new story content, there are 2 major gameplay features:

• Pantheras the Transmuter: A new merchant which takes your excess gold and instantly turns them into randomized item drops in the form of orbs. Each increasing difficulty gives you access to an orb that yields higher-rarity items in exchange for a more expensive price - Normal Orb for 1 million gold, Epic Orb for 2.5 million and Legendary Orb for 5 million.
• Tartarus: This endgame content introduces some degree of procedural generation to Titan Quest. Upon entering the purple portal in a corner of Gadir. You are put into a lobby to preview the modifiers for the arena round ahead. Upon entering the arena, you are put into 5 consecutive fights in procedurally-generated environments. These fights are time-limited. Every 5th stage, after you defeat the boss of that round, you have a choice between opening the orb it leaves behind or proceed to the next 5 fights with new modifiers and increased unique gear drop chance. If you die or run out of time while in the arena, you are put back into the lobby with new modifiers and unique gear drop chance reset to baseline level. Enemies in Tartarus are scaled to your character.
