PixelOpus

PixelOpus was a game developer established in 2014 as an in-house studio for Sony Interactive Entertainment. When it was launched it consisted of nine students led by a number of veterans, as Sony wanted to follow up the success of Thatgamecompany as a small studio responsible for Journey (2012).

The team created the rhythm title Entwined (2014) and the action title Concrete Genie (2019).

In May 2023 Sony announced the studio would close on 2nd June. Since 2019 the team had worked on PS5 title cooperating with Sony Pictures Animation.
