Sandbox Interactive GmbH

Sandbox Interactive was founded by Stefan Wiezorek (CEO), David Salz (CTO), Christian Wild and Dominik Kofert in August, 2012 in Berlin, Germany. Marcus Koch joined the founder team as the Art Director a few months later. The company was founded with the single goal to develop and operate the MMORPG Albion Online, there never were any plans to make other games. Albion Online was successfully released in July, 2017. The company had grown to more than 60 people by that time. In 2018, Robin Henkys took over the position of CEO.
