Sproing Interactive Media GmbH was a PC and console games development company based in Vienna, Austria. It was founded in 2001 by Harald Riegler and Gerhard Seiler.

Sproing developed games for platforms such as PS2, PSX, Xbox, GameCube, Nintendo DS, GBA, PC, handheld and web.

Their services included:

  • Game development for all major platforms (contracted or original)
  • Game porting (PC to Console or vice versa)
  • Audio Services for the gaming industry (soundtracks, sound Design)
  • Advertising games (web or CD-ROM based)
  • Gambling and ITV applications

The company filed for insolvency in 2016 and closed down in 2017.

In 2018 several former employees founded Purple Lamp Game Development GmbH and acquired the rights for the Sproing brand and certain games previously made by them.
